Westport, a designated Failte heritage town, is situated at the south east corner of Clew Bay in the beautiful west of Ireland. Sitting in front of the impressive Croagh Patrick, and looking out over Clew Bay.

There are many ways to enjoy these wonderful surroundings, from a sailing trip around the islands to an exhilarating hike through the countryside or a horseback ride along the beaches.

The area has a rich and fascinating history, including the stories of Grace O’Malley, the infamous Pirate Queen who ruled the seas around Westport in the 1500’s. Westport itself was designed in the 18th century by James Wyatt and has many outstanding features including the Georgian style tree-lined boulevard, known as The Mall. There’s also great shopping, fantastic restaurants, and plenty of traditional Irish Pubs!
